I don't know if I like this one either. Which is strange because I generally like pin-ups and you are beautiful so it seems like the combination should work perfectly together.
The skin tone is ideal. The polka-dot dress is in keeping with an expected style one would normally see in a pin-up though I do think the dot pattern is somewhat smaller than usual. The pose seems to me to be an 'intermediate' stage pose rather than a stylized pin-up pose. As though this might have been taken while 'in between' standard poses in the shoot. I didn't know if that was the actual situation (and/or meant) or if this was a 'posed' pose. Also, your expression is non-standard compared to pin-up works with which I'm more familiar. You don't appear to be expressing any of the 'standard' emotional states of typical pin-up models, and frankly, it's a little puzzling.
I think the elements of a great set of pin-up style works are there - just not quite put together and captured as ideally as I'd like to see it done.
Personally, I think you'd be a great pin-up model and would like to see you try this again perhaps with other outfits and poses.
I've been perusing your gallery for awhile now and am impressed with the quality of your photos. I'd like to see it extended to this style because it is it happens to be one of the ones I prefer. I think if you could capture some of the emotion you showed in the portrait on which I commented that would be ideal.
In any case I do enjoy your photographs and encourage you to keep up the good work.
You are xtreamly beautiful and i would love to tell you that face to face but I'm afraid that's not possible considering that you probably have some one who tells that anyway so i hope you can except my compliment cause i mean it sincerlly and your welcome.
i'm a fan of this style, so perhaps i am biased but i think you suit the concept very well. my only criticism would be the hairstyle seems a bit awry considering the way 50's pin up flavour usually looks (not bad just messier than the typical carved out of a sheet of plastic) and if you felt uncomfortable it shows. had you been comfy and flirtatious with the shoot the hair would have been barely noticed.
that said, you look lovely. fans would welcome further entry
I think you go best with a kind of mysterious look.. But yet here you are proving me wrong, this is an amazing pin up, you have an ability to dazzle people in whatever style. It's the eyes, I'm telling you. You have eyes that pierce even the toughest of hearts.. Dear god *sigh*

I think the reason why some women and even teenagers like hairstyles that have a even little forties flavour to it is because that sort of styling frames the face and show off the features much better than say the more modern urban type of hair do's with gels and stuff, but each to their own.
